    Position Overview:

    Provides clerical and receptionist duties in a nursing unit. Responsible for knowing the philosophy, objectives, and policies of the Medical Center. Contributes to the development and maintenance of a communication system that promotes positive intra and interdepartmental working relationships.

    EDUCATION

    + _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._

    + HS Diploma

    CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

    + BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider preferred

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

    + Recent experience or education as a Ward Clerk in health care environment or equivalent.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    + Basic computer skills required.

    + Knowledge of English language w/strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, problem solve and meet deadlines

    + Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills in a diverse population.

    + Training skills required.

    + Basic keyboarding and computer skills

    + Must be able to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations.

    Pay Range is $28.28 to $37.83 / hour

     

    _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
