Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise System Developer to drive the automation of business processes, develop APIs, and create custom reports. This role involves maintaining and supporting Ellucian Banner ERP System and its integrations, as well as developing new solutions to enhance operational efficiency and enable users to maximize technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), business intelligence, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop ERP process automation and API solutions using various programming languages.

+ Design and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database queries to improve ERP performance.

+ Create and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs for seamless data communication between systems.

+ Develop custom reporting solutions using various reporting tools to enhance data accessibility.

+ Analyze application tables and file structures to identify and resolve system issues.

+ Document end-user instructions and technical specifications for development processes.

+ Develop project plans, outlining detailed steps and estimates within project planning software.

+ Work effectively in cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business needs.

+ Participate in continuous performance improvement meetings to enhance processes and standards.

+ Maintain and support the Ellucian Banner ERP System and associated integrations.

+ Collaborate with application vendors to ensure smooth system performance and updates.

+ Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

+ Strong expertise in SQL development, including query optimization and script writing.

+ Hands-on experience with API development, including designing and integrating web services.

+ Comprehensive knowledge of ERP systems development, particularly in Ellucian Banner.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related technical issues.

+ Experience working with business processes, workflows, and enterprise application integrations.

+ Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a customer service mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions and integrations.

+ Knowledge of common development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.

+ Familiarity with additional programming languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.

+ Certifications in ERP systems, SQL, or database management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.80 - $33.17/hr.
