    Network Engineer - Wireless Engineering Team

     

    On-Site Monday-Friday

    Must be able to work on a W2 basis

    Overview: TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our Wireless Engineering team. This role is crucial to our comprehensive network equipment refresh project. The successful candidate will support the F5 Integration to ISE and contribute to the ISE optimization project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop and implement Cisco ISE solutions to manage network access and security.

    + Configure and manage Cisco ISE policies, profiles, and network devices.

    + Diagnose and resolve issues related to network access and security.

    + Create and maintain documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures.

    + Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Cisco ISE with existing network infrastructure and security systems.

    + Provide training and support to other engineers and staff on Cisco ISE functionalities.

    + Perform necessary maintenance on the ISE environment.

    Qualifications:

    + Strong experience with F5 Load Balancing.

    + Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM (Local Traffic Manager) and knowledge of iRules, SSL offloading, persistence profiles, and health monitoring.

    + Ability to support F5 load balancing for RADIUS and TACACS+ and understanding of F5 HA (High Availability) and traffic management.

    + Solid experience in deploying and managing Cisco ISE clusters with load balancing.

    + Proficiency in configuring F5 LTM for RADIUS/TACACS+ and session persistence.

    + Expertise in troubleshooting authentication failures, load balancing issues, and failover scenarios.

    + Experience with syslogs, packet captures, and debugging tools (Wireshark, F5 logs, Cisco ISE logs).

    + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

    + Cisco Certifications:

    + CCNP Security (or at least CCNA with ISE experience)

    + Cisco Certified Specialist – Security Identity Management

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
