    Reimbursement Analyst

     

    This role would be a long-term contract with a hospital! The Reimbursement Analyst supports the transfer and reconciliation of cash across multiple accounts and vendors. This role involves researching and resolving misdirected payments, completing payment enrollments, and collaborating with various departments and vendors.

    Hybrid Schedule – Tuesday & Wednesday will be working in office

    A day in the role…

    • Verify banking information on misdirected paper checks.

    • Manage and reallocate erroneous payments received by billing vendors.

    • Identify and escalate payment issues to resolve them at the source.

    • Assist with EFT and ERA payment enrollments.

    • Organize manual payments and allocate funds using the Transfer Spreadsheet.

    • Create and maintain procedural documentation for enrollment and transfer workflows.

    • Maintain Payspan accounts for new and existing business.

    • Update and map data elements for various DataStreams.

    • Submit financial assistance and hardship spreadsheets to billing vendors.

    • Perform additional payment application tasks and resolve daily cash discrepancies.

    Necessary Skills and Strengths:

    Hospital Billing| Provider Billing| EPIC | Medical Insurance

    Core Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required

    • 4+ years of reimbursement experience

    • Previous medical billing, coding, healthcare reimbursement specialist

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
