Now Hiring for a Senior Medical Collections Specialist with a reputable healthcare organization in the Twin Cities metro!! MUST HAVE 3+ years of medical collections experience and experience working with submitting legal paperwork with county and state courts!!

Job Description:

Maintains debtor account inventory-40% of the day

Prepares and requests check for court fees-20% of the day

Helps train Conciliation Court Representatives (Associate) and cross trains with other departments-20% of the day

Prepare judgements to go to outside attorney-20% of the day

Creates and maintains relationships with court employees-10% of the day

Manages collection activities prior to court action in an attempt to resolve the outstanding balance

Reviews account activities to ensure compliance with all agreements and requirements

Evaluates assigned delinquent account files and makes a determination on which accounts to take to court

Aids attorneys in the resolution of patient accounts

Prepares accounts & documentation prior to court

Prepares legal documents

Arranges delivery of legal correspondences

Prepares finance documents prior to purchase

Represents accounts in Conciliation court

Meet with consumers at court (or virtual) to attempt to resolve the outstanding balance prior to court

Handle all incoming documents relating to court case

Monitor court judgements and arrangements for compliance

MUST HAVES:

3+ of Medical Collections experience

Experience working with legal paperwork and attorneys

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (hybrid schedule)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.88 - $31.00/hr.
