**Job Title:** Building Automation Installer

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

+ Installation of multiple HVAC automation systems to specific specifications and drawings.

+ Read and interpret control system design documents and mechanical blueprints.

+ Wire and terminate control devices, sensors, and actuators.

+ Install and maintain network infrastructure equipment, including servers, routers, switches, and cabling.

+ Install communications cabling, wiring, and direct digital control system controllers and components.

+ Interface with maintenance team members to execute repairs or modifications of controlled systems and equipment.

+ Install EMT and IMT conduit raceways.

+ Interface with maintenance team members to execute repairs or modifications of controlled systems and equipment.

+ Understanding of and practical application of the National Electric Code.

**Job Specifications** (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

+ High School diploma or equivalent experience.

+ 5+ years of experience in electrical installation and building automation systems required.

+ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting.

+ Knowledge of automation controls systems (Distech, JCI, Siemens, ALC, etc. a plus)

+ Solid understanding of automation controls, topology, and networking.

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.

+ Attend training sessions to stay current with the latest technology and installation methods.

+ Adaptable to apply the skills to field applications.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

+ Valid Driver’s License.
