Salary: $23 / Hour

Roles:

+ 1:1 Aide: Supports a specific student in various environments.

+ General Aide: Supports all students in a special education classroom.

+ Mainstream Class Aide: Supports special needs students in a mainstream classroom.

Responsibilities:Behavior Management:

+ Follow behavior plans or use training to manage behavior.

+ Use MCPT strategies and ensure safety.

+ Assist students during behavioral incidents.

Learning Facilitation:

+ Implement teacher-provided curriculum.

+ Conduct various teaching methods (DTT, Naturalistic Teaching, etc.).

+ Collect data and run teaching stations.

+ Provide prompts and assistance on assignments.

Room Preparation:

+ Clean and organize the room.

+ Prepare activities and perform clerical duties.

Teacher Relationship:

+ Follow teacher instructions and communicate questions.

+ Redirect parent communication to the teacher.

Environmental Support:

+ Travel with students to various activities.

+ Assist with drop-off/pick-up and diaper changes.

+ Accompany students on field trips.
