    TITLE: HR Shared Services Specialist

     

    POSTING LOCATION: Palo Alto, CA

    We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented HR Shared Services Specialist to join our team. The HR Shared Services Specialist is responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality HR support to employees across Broadcom. Our ideal candidate has strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. This position is expected to work onsite in our Palo Alto Headquarters full time.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Serve as the first HR point of contact for employees, providing timely and accurate guidance on HR policies, processes, and programs.

    + Manage and respond to HR inquiries submitted through our HR ticketing system and email, ensuring a positive employee experience.

    + Support HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle transactions.

    + Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

    + Assist with HR reporting, audits, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

    + Collaborate with HR business partners, Payroll, Benefits, and other HR COES teams to resolve complex employee inquiries.

    + Support HR projects, such as system enhancements, policy updates, and employee engagement initiatives.

    + Provide post-employment support and information for former Broadcom employees.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

    + 5+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or a related HR support role.

    Technical Skills:

    + Proficiency in Experience with HR systems (Workday, SAP, or similar) and ticketing systems is a plus.

    + **Confidentiality:** Proven ability to handle sensitive employee data and processes with professionalism and discretion.

    + **Communication Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly to diverse internal and external audiences.

    + **Collaboration:** Adept at working cross-functionally and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including HR, Legal, and vendor partners.

    + **Problem-Solving:** Resourceful and proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues related to HR processes and employee transitions.

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    The annual base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $125,000.

     

    This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
