Job Description:
Marshfield Clinic seeks a Director - 340B Program for its location in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This position is responsible for oversight, assessment and designing mission-critical 340B program solutions including audits, continuous improvement and optimization for 340B and/or Government-related initiatives. The Director ensures solutions are aligned with business objectives, needs are prioritized appropriately across the enterprise, and collaboration exists with business areas in the development of short and long-term product roadmaps. They assist in KPI development, budget allocation, and performance management of the team. Duties include: 1) Responsible for abiding by the administrative regulations, policies, and values of the System while providing oversight for all pharmacy-related financials and serving as the subject matter expert for all matters regarding MCHS’s 340B Drug Pricing Program ("340B program"); 2. Under the direction of the pharmacy leadership provides guidance for translating business requirements into 340b program solutions like roadmaps, business process designs, and training assets.; 3. Directs a dynamic team of professionals assisting in compliance and program delivery; 4. Establish KPIs, goals, and vision for the team in collaboration with pharmacy and business leads to assess the performance of the technology solutions and rectify gaps accordingly; 5. Ensures timely delivery of high-quality solutions by liaising between senior business stakeholders and solution development teams and ensures that solutions meet the expectations of the stakeholders; 6. Mentors associates to develop an environment of teamwork and collaboration, focused on quality, user satisfaction, creativity, and cost-effectiveness; 7. Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on other business processes and priorities; 8. Demonstrates self-leadership and promotes building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure business priorities and process align; 9. Provides insight, guidance, and recommendations throughout the evolution of existing products by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of how current processes impact business operations across clients and internal businesses; 10. Reviews and meets ongoing competency requirements of the role to maintain the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform, within scope, role specific functions. Requires a PharmD degree and the following: 1) at least three years experience as a pharmacist or a related position, which included working with the conversion from RxStrateges and MacroHelix or similar, to Verity; 2) 340BACE Certification Expert awarded by Apexus; 3) a Wisconsin pharmacist license; 4) successful completion of American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) PGY-2 residency in Medication-Use Safety and Policy; and 5) may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid.
