    Join our friendly, patient-focused Eye Care team at Sanford Health as an Associate Optometric Assistant, where you'll support optometrists in delivering exceptional vision care — with no weekends, no holidays, flexible day shifts, and opportunities to earn your CPO certification.     Job Summary

    Perform preliminary screening examinations and/or tests to facilitate diagnosis and treatment by the provider. Assist the provider with procedures and care of the patient. Collect subjective and objective ophthalmic data from the patient or caregiver and communicates this to the doctor. Cross-training to support basic optical and/or access functions as needed.

    Qualifications

    High School graduate is preferred. Will provide training and education for required skills.

     

    Previous health care experience or training in ophthalmology, optometry, and/or optical office preferred. Basic Life Support Certification required.
