    Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of an Instructional Associate II, College Tutoring. This position provides developmental and course-specific academic tutoring via independent consultations and promotes learning strategies to aid in course-level success, overall skills development, and the retention of students. The Instructional Associate II is responsible for supporting students enrolled in basic, intermediate, and advanced level College courses. This position serves as a mentor to Instructional Associate I staff and reports to the Senior Coordinator, College Tutoring.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    + Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in English or Mathematics.

    + Two (2) years of tutorial/teaching experience in the appropriate subject area in an educational setting, to include one (1) year full-time professional work experience as an FSW Instructional Associate I. Appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted.

    + Ability to independently travel to various campuses and other locations for College business.

    + OR

    + Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

    + One (1) year full-time professional work experience as an FSW Instructional Associate I. Appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted

    Salary: This is a tiered position based on experience, education, and content proficiency. Tier I - $37,216.37, Tier II – $41,031.05.
