A Brief Overview
The LPN participates in the provision of nursing care by performing specific activities and technical procedures as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
What you will do
+ Planning and managing patient care according to each patient’s needs
+ Interviewing patients and recording their medical history
+ Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms
+ Administering injections of medications
+ Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately
+ Observing and recording patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments
Education Qualifications
+ Diploma as a Practical Nurse
Experience Qualifications
+ Clinical LPN experience Preferred
Skills and Abilities
+ Works with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers.
+ Epic experience preferred.
+ Strong PC skills preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
+ Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Required
+ Licensed Practical Nurse - South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation with South Carolina Board of Nursing.
