    Description

    The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

     

    Glasco residence is located between Kingston and Saugerties, and is the home of six wonderful women. Employees at Glasco provide hands-on care; the ideal applicant will possess a sense of humor, patience, compassion, and will be a dedicated team player.     A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

     

    HOURS: 40/Monday through Thursday 10:30 pm to 8:30 am

     

    STARTING SALARY: $ 18.01 to $ 19.82 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable

    Minimum Requirements
