    WORK SCHEDULE

    + 40% FTE, Part time, Days

    + Mondays 6:00am-2:30pm

    + Wednesdays 12:00pm-8:30pm **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** Responsible for promoting excellence in guest relations and support the hospitality model, as well as promoting the mission, vision and values of the UW Medicine Health System. **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** The Nutrition and Food Services department supports UW Medicine's mission by delivering extraordinary experiences with compassionate evidence-based care, unforgettable customer service, and fresh and nutritious food for patients, families, and the greater community.Our vision is to create a supportive and empowering workplace for all, provide unparalleled experiences for our customers and patients, and improve the quality of life and health of the public. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

    + Prepares accurate, high-quality food for patients to order following standardized recipes and procedures.

    + Keeps station and cooking equipment clean following all infection control procedures

    + Begins and ends tray assembly including service ware, condiments, hot and cold items as they are finished by Line and Cold Pantry Cooks.

    + Identifies product needs and requisitions items required to prepare tray assembly

    + Notifies Sous Chef in advance of expected shortages

    + Prepares all lunch/dinner orders accurately and efficiently follows food preparation procedures **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**

    + Possession of, or eligible for, a food handler's permitAND
