The role you will contribute:
The Automation Revenue Cycle Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Automation and Analytics, assumes a crucial leadership role in advancing the Revenue Cycle's operational efficiency and financial outcomes. Entrusted with the mandate to innovate and implement cutting-edge automation solutions, this position is pivotal in realizing significant enhancements in revenue generation, cost reduction, accuracy improvement, and operational productivity enhancement. This role involves strategic collaboration with revenue cycle leaders across the entire spectrum, alongside IT teams, ensuring the delivery of automation solutions finely tuned to the evolving demands of the Revenue Cycle. In this strategic capacity, the manager is not only tasked with the orchestration and execution of high-quality automations but also with fostering robust cross-functional relationships. By closely interacting with the Revenue Cycle and System SMEs team, the manager ensures a seamless alignment of automation projects with operational priorities, while the partnership with the Analytics team provides a data-driven backbone to measure the impact and efficiency of automation initiatives. With a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and a dedication to operational excellence, the Automation Revenue Cycle Manager plays a central role in steering the organization's Revenue Cycle towards a future marked by innovation and improved performance.
The value you will bring to the team:
+ Provide expert leadership and targeted guidance to a team of Revenue Cycle Automation Developers, focusing on deploying advanced technologies such as Microsoft Power Automate and UiPath within the revenue cycle domain.
+ Engage in high-level collaboration with Revenue Cycle Operations and System SMEs to dissect requirements, devise intricate multi-system automations, and articulate sophisticated solutions, risks, and challenges.
+ Orchestrates the development and architectural design of sophisticated RPA and Microsoft Power Platform solutions to streamline and enhance strategic initiatives.
+ Collaborate with the Analytics team to construct and implement robust mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating Automation bot performance, with a steadfast goal to achieve minimal errors and maximal task automation continuity.
+ Spearhead the identification and resolution of automation issues, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and sharing insights with Revenue Cycle operational leaders to enhance the respective business cases.
+ Partner with IT leaders to ensure strict governance around Revenue Cycle Automation bot support, maintenance, and compliance, in line with organizational policies and industry standards.
+ Continuously expand and share knowledge related to Revenue Cycle Automation integration strategies, particularly focusing on new industry-standard practices, security concerns, and evolving Corporate Responsibility policies.
+ Conduct and encourage research among Automation Developers on emerging automation opportunities, industry trends, and innovations, ensuring the Revenue Cycle operations remain at the forefront of technological advancements.
+ Lead detailed reviews of automation processes, ensuring a comprehensive understanding and meticulous documentation of processes before their implementation, while guiding Automation Developers in creating Process Design Documents (PDDs) and other vital technical specifications.
+ Strategically manage risks associated with automation initiatives, identifying, and addressing potential challenges during the development, testing, and production phases, thus ensuring robust and compliant automation solutions within the Revenue Cycle operations.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
+ Bachelor's in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Information Systems, or related appropriate discipline. Required
+ 3 experience working with MS Power Platform or any other Automation software (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.) Required
+ 3 of supervisory experience leading teams of developers through automation or analytic project design and execution Required
+ Skilled in guiding Developers in the development and deployment of robotic process automations and/or other analytical solution implementations.
+ Knowledge of operational processes and workflows within the Revenue Cycle, driving process improvement initiatives.
+ Comprehensive understanding of Epic applications, specific tools, technologies, and vendors used by AdventHealth, including their capabilities, data structures, and interrelationships.
+ Advanced proficiency in MS Power Platform applications (Power Automate, Power apps, Power BI), utilizing best practices for application connectors.
+ Expertise in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and strategies for Database (MS SQL) integration.
+ Proficient in creating and managing a complex remote desktop environment (RDP) infrastructure.
+ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
+ Capable of effective communication and collaboration with diverse technical teams across the Revenue Cycle.
+ Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments, leading and managing change efficiently and effectively.
+ Ability to pinpoint enhancements and refinements in a range of processes, spanning both technical and non-technical domains.
+ Familiarity with both Hospital Billing and Professional billing Epic system workflows and functionality.
+ Familiarity with established project management frameworks and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master's in Analytics, Systems Engineering or related discipline.
