    Your Opportunity

    This is a resume and skill-building experience. Your work will include project research, site visits and observation reports, sketching, CAD and computer graphics production, design reviews, and marketing proposal assistance – while interacting with our inter-disciplinary team.

    Qualifications

    Your Capabilities and Credentials

    + Excellent design, graphic, computer, writing, and technical skills

    + Self-motivated and passionate about urban design & landscape architecture

    + Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills

    + The ability to work with others, as well as independently.

    + Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Sketch-up, and the Adobe creative suite is essential.

    + The ability to use Sketchup, D5, Rhino, Enscape, or Lumion is a plus

     

    Education and Experience

     

    Applicants should be a current student of an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Landscape Architecture program.

    + A cover letter in PDF format indicating your background, interests, and goals in the field of landscape architecture. Please describe a unique project challenge that you encountered and how you addressed and responded to the challenge. Include any other relevant information you believe will help us make an informed decision regarding your selection to the internship program.

    + One letter of recommendation in PDF format from an individual related to the field of landscape architecture and design

    + Design Portfolio in PDF format (5 MB max.)

     

    Application packages will be reviewed for creativity, critical thinking, and design communication skills. The application deadline is on Sunday, February 23, at 11:59 pm ET.

     

    Stantec offers a collaborative studio work environment. Our landscape architects engage staff across multiple disciplines and are presented with project opportunities at various scales and at the local, regional, national, and international level. To receive the best mentorship experience in the Summer of 2025, we anticipate that this position will predominantly require work in the office while remaining compliant with current public health guidelines. Work from home arrangements may be considered, though in-office presence will be a priority.

    Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

    Salary Range(s):

    * $21.85 - $26.22 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO, HI, MD and IL

     

    The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
