    Lead Projects That Will Explore Aerospace as a Project Manager

    **Location:** Windsor Locks, CT 06096

    **Job Type:** 10-Month Contract

    **Schedule:** Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    **Pay Rate:** $33.38/hour

    **Work Arrangement:** 100% Onsite

     

    About the Role

     

    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly motivated **Project Manager** to support the exciting and high-impact **Program.** In this role, you will combine project management expertise with technical insight to support the design, development, assembly, and testing of critical flight hardware.

     

    This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, operations, supply chain, and quality functions to meet technical, cost, and schedule goals

    + Lead and facilitate project tasks and planning across various engineering and functional teams

    + Use integrated scheduling, risk management, and earned value management tools to drive project progress

    + Initiate and manage engineering changes in Windchill; handle quality notifications (QNs) in SAP

    + Support hardware assembly and testing, including issue resolution and root cause investigations

    + Track and report on project execution performance

    + Forecast and monitor project financials, and provide monthly cost re-estimates

    + Maintain and present project status reports and business updates to leadership

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives for project efficiency

    + Uphold professional and ethical standards in all project-related interactions

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)

    + Experience managing technical or engineering projects

    + Excellent communication and leadership skills

    + Ability to work 100% onsite in Windsor Locks, CT

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Familiarity with SAP, Windchill, and project cost management tools

    + Experience in aerospace, satellite systems, or hardware development

    + Knowledge of integrated product development and quality assurance processes

    **Pay Details:** $33.38 per hour
