As an Implementation Project Manager, you will deliver on projects from the MineStar product family. You will lead a team through our defined deployment process to ensure customers are successfully using our technology. This is not a traditional project management role, you will touch on commercial processes such as quoting and invoicing and additionally be expected to learn about the technology so that you can have valuable discussions with customers and dealers around the world.
What you will do:
Accountable for the implementation of Caterpillar delivered MineStar technologies at the customer site.
Responsible for ensuring the projects deliver on time, on cost, and on the scope.
Responsible for ensuring we follow our MineStar Implementation Center of Excellence (COE) process.
Responsible to participate and provide subject matter expertise (SME) in the quoting process.
Receive defined projects from Commercial handoff and system-ready handoff from support for upgrade projects.
Responsible for providing a stable product after implementation/upgrade to the customer, dealer, and Caterpillar support team.
Ensure remaining issues are worked to resolution or transitioned to the support organization.
Accountable for project status communications internally and externally regarding Caterpillar deployed MineStar technologies globally.
Responsible for continuously improving the MineStar implementation process.
Provide coordination of the Training and Support team involvement in the implementation project.
What Skills you will have:
**Planning: Tactical, Strategic:** Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
**Project Administration:** Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
**Decision Making and Critical Thinking:** Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
**Data Gathering and Reporting:** Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
**Implementation:** Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
**IT Project Control and Reporting:** Knowledge of project control and reporting; ability to monitor the vital signs of an IT project while managing its progress and delivery schedule.
**IT Project Management:** Knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.
Top Candidates will also have:
4 + years of Fleet management Software exposure.
Experience working with customers outside of the United States.

The primary location for this position is Tucson, AZ.
Domestic relocation assistance is available.
This position may require 25 % travel.

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
