Department: Pharmaceutical Compounding
Reports To: Pharmacy Operations ManagerPosition Summary: Responsible for compounding sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations. Ensures quality control, regulatory compliance, and formulation accuracy.Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare compounded medications following precise formulations.
+ Adhere to USP (795, 797, 800), FDA, and pharmacy board standards.
+ Maintain accurate compounding documentation and records.
+ Conduct sterility and stability testing.
+ Ensure proper handling and storage of pharmaceutical ingredients.
+ Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow.
Qualifications: Education:
+ Pharmacy Technician Certification or Licensed Pharmacist (PharmD preferred).
Experience:
+ Minimum 2 years in pharmaceutical compounding (sterile/non-sterile).
+ Familiarity with USP standards and regulatory compliance.
Skills:
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
+ Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
Work Environment:
