    Overview

     

    We are looking for a **Nurse Preceptor (serving IA and MN branchs)** to join our team. This position reports to the AVPO and is responsible for providing high interaction with patients as well as new hire clinicians during hospice visits.

     

    + Facilitates the learning experience to allow preceptees to perform competently in their required responsibilities. This is achieved through mentoring, coaching, and role modeling correct behaviors.

    + Performs patient home visits in accordance with physicians’ orders.

    + Orients new nurses (preceptees) which includes hospice clinical policies and procedures, documentation, technology, compliance and regulatory requirements

     

    About You

     

    + Current CPR certification

    + Minimum 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting

    + Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

    + Unencumbered RN license in work state assigned

    Compensation may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications and department equity. Gentiva provides associates with a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one piece.

     

    Salary Range – $70-98k/year
