    Overview

     

    Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health /Substance Use Disorder Clinician to work on a Full-Time basis working in the community and out of Helio Health’s Rochester Outpatient Program. The Street Outreach program focuses on providing evidence-based harm reduction interventions while connecting with people with substance use disorders, not currently engaged in care and at highest risk of near-term death of overdose. As part of the multi-disciplinary team, theLicensed Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Clinicianwill engage Monroe County community members with SUD in understanding the types of treatment available to them in the community, provide an assessment and complete a referral to the most appropriate level of care. TheClinicianwill also engage family/social support in understanding treatment options and how to access those options as well as education on harm reduction practices.

     

    The schedule will beMonday- Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

     

    Pay Rate:$24.00- $30.00 per hour.

     

    In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time Licensed Counselors/Therapists are eligible for aSign-On Incentivebetween $3,000-$8,000 depending on licensure!

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain a case load.

    + Perform essential counseling/therapist responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping.

    + Assist with the training of staff, volunteers and student interns as assigned.

    + Exhibit exemplary knowledge of the biopsychosocial process of substance use disorders/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group processes, and principles of counseling.

    + Relate effectively with staff, patients, and professional community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality.

    Qualifications

    + Must hold a valid professional License (including but not limited to LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) or Credential (including but not limited to CASAC, CPP, CPS etc.)

    + Limited Permit (LP) Licenses are acceptable

    + Master's Degree preferred, bachelor's degree required.

    + Experience conducting evaluations and assessments.

    + Two years employment experience in the Human Services field.

    + An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements.

    + Proficiency with basic computer applications.

    Salary and hourly compensation ranges are provided in accordance with NYS law and are based on Helio Health's good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting. Salary and hourly compensation offers are based on candidate's education level and experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager and program.
