Solar Service Technician

Compensation: $21-$25 per/hour

Job Type: Full-time, In-person.

A Solar Service Technician will ensure the performance and maintenance of solar energy systems, with expertise in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and field service.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar energy systems.

+ Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including string downs and panels.

+ Diagnose and rectify electrical issues within solar installations.

+ Collaborate with the installation team to ensure new projects meet quality standards.

+ Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.

+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

+ Provide on-site training and support to customers as needed.

+ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

+ Experience in solar field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting

+ Basic electrical knowledge and ability to share insights

+ Comfortable working on pitched rooftops

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

+ Works well independently and in a team

+ Effective communicator with customers and crew

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

+ Must be comfortable with heights and all weather conditions

+ Ability to climb ladders and stairs
