    The **Supervisor, Ultrasound OB GYN** plans, organizes, and directs the work of staff personnel specific to assigned modality.

     

    **The Supervisor/lead tech is the clinical leader for the department. This position is responsible for managing the sonographers which includes both administrative work such as preparing schedules and quarterly reviews as well working clinically with the team. In the event of call out, staffing shortages and emergencies the supervisor/lead tech does scan a schedule of patients. Previously the supervisor would schedule herself a couple of days a month scanning patien** ts.

     

    This Supervisor role is overseeing 12 Ultrasound technicians for Maternal Fetal Medicine

    Schedule is Monday - Thursday 8am-4:30 pm and Friday 7am-3:30pm

    **Epic experience a plus

    **AS solutions ultrasound reporting system experience a plus

    **ADRMS or AART certification is required

    **Fetal Echo certification a plus

    Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    + Graduate of an approved Ultrasound School.

    + A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an Ultrasound Department.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

    Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

    + Bachelor's Degree.

    + Clinical leadership experience.

    Licenses and Certifications Required:

    + Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification.

    + AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
