What you'll do...
Sam’s Club MAP is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Senior Manager, Agency Partnerships to build and scale our agency partner ecosystem from the ground up. This is a newly created role where you’ll define how we partner with agencies, collaborating closely with Sales to unlock and grow this high-potential business. You’ll lead strategy, establish foundational partnerships, and shape how Sam’s Club MAP shows up in the agency world—playing a key role in driving long-term growth through trusted relationships and innovative solutions.

Sam’s Club MAP is an ad tech startup inside one of the world’s largest and most successful companies—Walmart. We’re building a retail media and retail experience network, helping brands and advertisers engage Sam’s Club members at the right moment, using data on millions of transactions.
What you'll do...
+ Own agency relationships – Manage and grow a portfolio of top U.S.-based media agencies through joint business planning and strategic alignment.
+ Develop and scale agency engagement strategies – Build repeatable playbooks for working with agencies and identifying new growth opportunities. Uncover and design ways of effectively working with new teams within agencies.
+ Act as the voice of the agency – Translate partner feedback into actionable insights to shape MAP’s product roadmap and go-to-market plans.
+ Educate and enable – Develop resources and programs to drive awareness, adoption, and fluency across MAP products and measurement solutions.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Operations to deliver integrated partnership success.
+ Drive planning and execution – Lead quarterly and annual planning processes with agencies to deliver against revenue goals and partnership KPIs.
+ Represent Sam’s Club MAP externally – Speak at industry events, participate in agency meetings, and serve as a thought leader in the agency ecosystem.
What you'll bring...
+ 8+ years of experience in media partnerships, digital advertising, agency development, or a related field.
+ Strong understanding of the U.S. media agency landscape, including holding companies and independent networks.
+ Experience with media planning and buying across digital, programmatic and omnichannel platforms. Retail Media a plus.
+ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
+ Proven track record of managing strategic relationships and delivering revenue growth.
+ Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional collaboration.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; advanced degree a plus.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09930:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
