    Description

    Leidos is seeking talented Quality Inspector to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, Prototyping, scientific and IT solutions.

     

    The Quality Inspector will be responsible for verifying that electro-mechanical parts and assembled hardware meet specified drawing/specification, work procedures as well as assisting in documenting work. Examples of hardware are cable assemblies, structural hardware, integrated assemblies and providing test support etc. Other duties may include performing receiving inspection, calibration of standard inspection equipment, and setting up and measuring parts using standard measuring equipment. Tracking and maintaining non-conformance on the floor. Applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Candidate must have a high school diploma/GED with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

    • Candidates must have demonstrated experience with standard measurement equipment, i.e. micrometers, calipers, multi-meters, etc.

    • Candidates must be able to execute or witness test procedures and generate test reports.

    • Candidates must have demonstrated experience reading and interpreting drawings, assembly schematics, and specifications and prepare handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.

    • Generate quality documentation including inspection reports, bubble prints, C of C’s and NCR’s.

    • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Preferred candidates will also meet some of the following:

    • Experience in inspection of complex aerospace hardware, non-conforming material, Material Review Board (MRB), review/creation of Acceptance Data Packs / First Article Inspection

    • Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems, AS5553 counterfeit prevention, and AS9102 first article inspection

    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $50,050.00 - $90,475.00

     

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
