    Description

    Leidos has an opening for a Software Specialist Intern on the AIE Next Team starting in summer 2025. The candidate will be assigned tasks that are relevant and necessary to the successful execution of Leidos contracts. Leidos will provide the candidate with real world experience and technical and career mentorship throughout the internship.

     

    Primary Responsibilities.

     

    + Assist with the development of reporting using Microsoft Power BI.

    + Perform system monitoring, analysis, and reporting using Splunk.

    + Perform tasks to completion semi-independently after receiving technical direction.

    + Assist the development, installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical hardware and/or systems.

    + Participate in product verification testing designed to ensure requirements are being met.

     

    Basic Qualifications.

     

    + Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

    + Must be junior or senior class level, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

    + **US citizenship is required, as well aseligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD** **Secret** **security clearance.**

    + **Must be available to support the internship this summer onsite at our Edgewood, MD location.**

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
