The Advisor, Retail Banking (Product Management) is primarily accountable for the end-to-end success of products aligned to a business unit, specifically commercial, mortgage and auto related. Responsible for the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining product vision and working closely with other areas of the Bank, to deliver valuable and viable products. Also responsible for monitoring customer engagement, customer satisfaction, and managing stakeholder expectations. This position will be working hybrid and is based in Oriental Center building, San Juan, PR.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Responsible for the design, development, execution and monitoring of the product roadmap and governance in alignment with the business strategy.
+ Manage the creation, development, enhancement and introduction of new products and services to enhance current and future product value proposition, grow the customer base and increase the cross-sell ratio.
+ Define, positioning, and target customer for products and services based on market needs.
+ Lead product pricing initiatives and collaborate in overall to profitability analysis.
+ Conduct market research and track industry developments with regards to productivity, data, solutions and understand implications to product vision and strategy.
+ Work closely with various departments across the Bank ensuring alignment of internal and external adoption.
+ Provide product and training material to ensure sales staff’s product knowledge, effective product delivery and optimum customer experience across the product lifecycle.
+ Collaborate in customer experience improvement efforts that lead to retention and greater product and channel usage.
+ Monitor and ensure compliance with new product development process and guidelines including regulatory documentation.
+ Other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related field required.
+ Five (5) years of experience in product management, business development, eCommerce, digital or retail related experience required. Financial services or banking industry experience highly preferred.
+ Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
+ Communicates effectively and clearly with a broad range of employees across the organization, as well as external counterparts required.
+ Demonstrated success in a product management role with an emphasis on delivering collaboration solutions to the enterprise. Proven experience providing roadmaps, product overviews, reports, backlog, and documentation.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish with a demonstrated ability to write communications clearly, concisely and effectively required.
+ Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) required.
+ Analytical, proactive problem solving, organized, detail oriented and able to multitask observing the defined quality standards.
WORK AUTHORIZATION & ELEGIBILITY:
+ Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
+ Employee is responsible for maintaining eligible work authorization throughout his tenure with the organization.
