We are seeking an enthusiastic Software Engineer for our TV platforms, specializing in native application development to help develop and maintain VIZIO’s core operating environment. Senior Software Engineer will be contributing extensively to our embedded UI/UX development, algorithm implementation for complex features to make it more user intuitive and underlying architecture. You will be working closely with product management to understand new features or extending current features for market needs, development using modern & native java script language and integration of third-party apps. You will also be engaged in developing tools which can help larger development communities within VIZIO. A proven track record of shipping high-quality software on embedded platforms is essential. As a part of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in designing and architecting software components and modules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that align with Walmart's goals.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and deliver embedded UI interfaces/applications on the Vizion OS/TV platform.
Own the design and architecture of software components and modules, leading the team technically.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and engineers to drive feature execution and delivery.
Make critical decisions to ensure the success of the product and advocate for technical excellence.
Lead, coach, and mentor the software engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
8+ years of experience in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and ReactJS.
Proven experience in full-stack development using NodeJS, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and SQL.
Expertise in C++, RPC, Websockets, and REST frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
