Summary:

The Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing organization at Meta is seeking a Silicon Sourcing Manager to drive impact and deliver results into Meta's highly innovative devices. This position will focus on supporting one of the most strategic categories in sourcing. The scope includes supporting the analytics, synthesis & presenting the findings thereof, in the silicon space. You must be a high impact individual with a demonstrated experience succeeding in a high-demand and fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

Silicon Sourcing Manager Responsibilities:

1. Participate in developing the overall data driven strategy and execution plan for assigned silicon endeavors, delivering world class experiences, quality, service, and lowest cost to Meta, and our customers.

2. Perform cost analysis by developing should cost modeling and drive cost reduction.

3. Negotiate and execute agreements as needed.

4. Support in establishing, managing strategic supplier relationships.

5. Lead the preparation of Supplier QTR and QBR processes focused on exceeding Meta’s KPI’s and continuous performance improvement.

6. Continually benchmark the industry to monitor technology trends and ensure best practices are incorporated into Meta Reality Lab’s product portfolio.

7. Create block diagrams at the system level and corresponding costs.

8. Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Ops and other cross-functional partners to substantiate and deliver to commercial targets.

9. Work closely on simulations, and communicate effectively with internal partners including sustaining ops, sales, marketing, accounting, finance, quality and planning teams.

10. Drive Early Supplier Involvement initiatives to ensure our suppliers are proactively providing input into new product designs and future product roadmaps.

11. Establish supplier selection criteria, evaluate alternative suppliers, manage RFI/Q processes, and drive final supplier selection in partnership with Software and Hardware Engineering and Supply Base Engineering, when applicable..

12. Manage supplier performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement on supply and overall partnership

13. Identify and implement process improvements, and lead partnerships with the GSM team on transformation initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

14. 5+ years in an engineering role.

15. 5+ years in a GSM role for a consumer electronics firm.

16. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

17. Expert in advanced data modeling with a proficiency with Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.

18. Technical program management and cross-functional teamwork experience.

19. Experience operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Public Compensation:

$102,000/year to $157,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
