    Summary:

    META is hiring ASIC Silicon Infrastructure Engineer within our Reality Lab ASIC organization. We are looking for individuals with experience in EDA flow, CAD/automation and ASIC infrastructure to build efficient System on Chip (SoC) and IP for our AR/MR products. We manage our ASIC design environment, develop methodologies and craft tools to streamline the design/verification of our unique Custom SOC and IP designs. This position offers the opportunity to have real impact in a dynamic and technology-focused design environment.You will be in charge of scaling our infrastructure, developing flows and frameworks used by our design community to execute the various design activities (design flow steps, sanity checks, regression, etc)

    Required Skills:

    ASIC Silicon Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Work with internal infrastructure team on compute grid, storage management and job scheduling architecture, efficiency, and maintenance

    2. Work with internal infrastructure team on adapting Meta infrastructure/tooling to ASIC design solutions, including but not limited to Source Control Management, Continuous integration, data management and reporting

    3. Manage the internal EDA license requests, installation and license forecast as well as EDA tool installation and maintenance

    4. Front End implementation flow development and support

    5. Internal tools development and automation to help improve productivity across ASIC design cycles

    6. Work with EDA vendors on new tools/technology and new features evaluation and adoption

    Minimum Qualifications:

    7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

    8. B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience

    9. 8+ years of experience in system administration, Chef, container technology

    10. Experience with ASIC EDA infrastructure (compute, storage, job scheduling) management, maintenance and support

    11. Experience with EDA tools and scripting languages (Unix Shell, Python, TCL) used to build tools and flows for complex environments

    12. Knowledge of front-end and back-end ASIC tools and flows

    13. Experience with developing and supporting solutions for ASIC design environment and infrastructure

    14. Experience with communicating across functional internal teams and with vendors

    Public Compensation:

    $173,000/year to $249,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
