Process Automation Services’ Engineering Lead Analyst
The Process Automation Services Engineering Lead Analyst position is responsible for Infrastructure Architecture and Business enablement for platforms hosting Process Automation initiatives. As part of the responsibility; the analyst will enable the required architecture for Infrastructure and guidelines for business enablement on Windows Servers hosting Robotics Processing Automation (RPA)/Open Source/Xceptor, Linux Servers hosting applications such as Appian, Boardwalk and other products that are certified for use under the Process Automation Services space. The overall objective of this role is to be an Infrastructure Architecture and product SME in server but also have a strong foundation in all technologies that impact desktop/server.
Responsibilities:
+ Enable engineering initiatives of standardizing environment build & configuration processes
+ Enable Engineering Product certifications (Infrastructure, Configuration & Business enablement)
+ Infrastructures build & usage certifications for on-prem Windows/Linux infrastructure or containerized environment
+ Enabling Infrastructure improvement (Architecture, Usage, Monitoring & Alerting, Product features)
+ Infrastructure build & product configuration automation (using Ansible)
+ Driving productivity, recommending improvements, remediation and operational excellence using quality methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement.Work closely with other Citi internal technology teams to ensure robustness, scalability, and global applicability of solutions
+ Work with project teams and developers to ensure those teams understand compatibility with desktop and server platforms
+ Identify and proactively resolve issues that could impact system performance, reliability, and usability to enable resilient operational environments
+ Persuade and influence others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills
+ Create and contribute to processes for missing or new solutions that are implemented due to gaps
+ Enable operations to resolve issues on Windows and Linux with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) including creation of proactive measures to audit and remediate issues from occurring
+ Automating team’s manual work through scripting automation
+ Write Run Books/Knowledge Base articles and Confluence pages for lower-level teams or business users and conduct effective workshops/training sessions
+ Risk & Compliance reviews of Vulnerabilities/EOVS
+ Standardize, modernize and optimize operational processes
+ The role currently provides a 24/7 coverage. On-call shifts will be scheduled on a rotational basis. It should be noted that on occasions there may be a requirement for weekend coverage in support of our clients and other service desk projects. This role will be for various shifts and will be adjusted by manager as needs arise.
Technology Set (Server & Cloud):
+ 5-7 years of relevant experience is enabling on-prem Windows/Linux platform with experience in containerized open-shift or cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance with an Engineering & Architecture background
+ Experience in troubleshooting/maintenance of applications on Windows/Linux servers or containerized open-shift or cloud infrastructure with interest in growing in Infrastructure architecture and middleware responsibilities
+ Experience in enabling and maintaining products on Windows/Linux infrastructure with exposure to containerized open-shift or cloud infrastructure
+ Experience with automation or low-code technologies (Automation Anywhere, Appian, Boardwalk, or other automation technologies)
+ Expert hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Linux Scripting, Ansible, etc.
+ Experience is setting up Application Monitoring implementation (AppDynamics, Splunk, etc.)
+ Must have Linux app server (Apache, Tomcat, etc.) and Linux shell script/troubleshooting experience
+ Experience with the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipeline tools
+ Hands-on experience with tools like ServiceNow and JIRA
+ Schedulers (Autosys, etc.)
+ IT Support based qualifications / training
+ Patch Management

+ Must have worked on identifying and driving process/service improvement, automation opportunities and customer improvements
+ Must have experience working in Scrum methodology
