    As a Client General Manager, you’ll lead the retention and growth plan for your dedicated account. We’re looking for proactive professionals with expertise for business travel and passion for world-class customer service experience.

    What You’ll Do on a Typical Day

    + Lead strategic client retention and growth plan for account portfolio

    + Proactively identify risks to the portfolio; develop and implement an action pla

    + Collaborate with operations and other internal Amex GBT teams

    + Influence key client decision makers, educating about Amex GBT’s value and key differentiators

    + Increase transaction revenue for Amex GBT and key suppliers

    + Proactively share client and market trends to internal and external leaders

    What We’re Looking For

    + Solid understanding of the business travel industry

    + Experience in a similar role / supporting global clients preferred

    + Strong Project Management and organizational ski

    + Ability to prioritize and handle contending demands

    + Adaptation and flexibility

    + Proactive identification and resolution of challenges

    + Professional communication (written and verbal)

    + Collaborative and open to feedback

    The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

     

    In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for either our Annual Incentive Award plan, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance, or eligible for one of our metric-driven Sales Incentive Plans (certain sales roles only). An eligible employee can only participate in one of these plans during an eligible period. This role is also eligible for awards under the company Equity Incentive Plan, which is designed to align participants' interests with those of shareholders.
