    Position Description:

    CIT is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill a Software Developer role in Chantilly, VA, to support the customer’s modernization effort. The successful candidate should have the ability to leverage cloud infrastructure and services and have a firm understanding of client-side and server-side web frameworks. The successful candidate will work with the development team and collaborate with mission partners on design features for the system. The CIT program is specifically seeking candidates with Python and Angular.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or additional years of specialized experience in a scientific or technical discipline in the areas of Computer or Information Technology (two years additional years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; six years in lieu of college degree)

    • Demonstrated experience with Python, and Angular.

    • Demonstrated experience in continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Puppet, Nexus, etc.)

    • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.

    • Experience in unit/integration testing.

    • Experience with EC2, CloudFormation, Terraform, Lambda, Auto-Scaling, Cloudwatch, Dynamo DB, and S3.

    • Experience with Elasticsearch

    • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

    • Experience with data engineering/analytics tools Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience working in an Agile team environment

    • Excellent communication skills.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $109,800 - $241,600
