This is where **Chapter Next** can be part of your solution\.
**Chapter Next** is a 12\-16 week paid returnship hosted by RMS\. Candidates who have taken a professional career hiatus for at least 1\+ years will be eligible to apply to this program\.
During this returnship participants will become part of a community of similarly experienced professionals with challenging work scopes that contribute to the great innovation produced by Lockheed Martin\! Selected candidates will be exposed to comprehensive training, professional development opportunities, networking opportunities, and individual based mentoring
Our goal is to provide the fundamental tools needed to be successful in your career field, and to potentially prepare you for an opportunity to join Lockheed Martin full\-time\. Fields of focus will be diverse across the program and include functional and technical opportunities\.
THE WORK
In your role as a Senior Computing Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
• Engage in full stack DevSecOps developer activities in Mount Laurel, New Jersey\.
• Apply automation tools and technologies in a CI/CD pipeline, to improve speed to fleet and reduce manual process\.
• Participate in and lead computing infrastructure engineering activities including product selection, design, development, deployment, integration and test in bare metal, and virtualized environments\.
• Interface with program and team leadership, to prioritize tasking, provide status and develop solutions to resolve any issues encountered\.
• Work on independent tasking within a collaborative team environment in a lab setting\.

Basic Qualifications:
\- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer or related technical field, along with 5 year's of professional experience\.
\- Must be willing to work onsite, traveling between multiple sites within the campus \(5 mile radius\), as well as be willing to travel domestically or internationally as needed\.
\- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Linux Operating System \(preferably RedHat\)\.
\- Minimum of 5 years experience DevSecOps/DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, bash, python, Ansible\.
\- Minimum of 2 years experience with Git or GitLab, Jira, VMWare, and deploying a Linux operating environment in a virtualized environment\.
\- Minimum 2 years experience working in a systems/software engineering environment, using agile tools, automation and applying best practices\.
\- Minimum of 2 years experience with REST API\.
\- Must be a US Citizen\.
\- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance\.
Desired Skills:
\- Masters degree or advanced technical certification\(s\)\.
\- Excellent leadership and communication skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non\-technical staff\.
\- Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD\-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification \(Security\+ CE or equivalent\)\.
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
