Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

+ Moves materials from packed staging area to shipping and storage area.

+ Returns empty pallets to packing area for reuse.

+ Performs daily maintenance and inspection of forklift.

+ Assist in loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.

+ Assist in combing pallets to better utilize warehouse space.

+ Keeps assigned work area clean at all times.

+ Complete any other related duties required and/or assigned by supervisor or manager.

+ Must be able to operate a side loader.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

+ High School diploma/GED (minimum)

+ Preferred at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment as a material handler

+ Preferred at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment as a mobile equipment operator

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively for up to 12 hours per shift

+ Good Computer Skills

+ Ability to carry out detail written or oral instructions
