**BAYADA Home Health Care** is currently seeking an experienced **Certified Nurses Aide / CNA** for a **full time or** **part time opportunity** to complete **home visits** to clients located throughout **Durham county** .

This is a Medicare certified office that utilizes CNAs to assist with bathing for clients 1-2 times per week and pay is based on a per visit rate.

Must be listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry.

As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

A Home Health Aide must:

+ Have at least one year of work experience as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant

+ **Must be listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry**

+ Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English

+ Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination

+ Have a criminal background check completed

+ Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides:

+ Bathing

+ Grooming

+ Toileting

+ Nail care

+ Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices

+ Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
