Description:
This position is responsible for clerical duties and direct patient care under the supervision of Imaging Staff, utilizing SAMC computer devices and information systems programs as necessitated by department requirements. This position is responsible for directing the patient flow, greeting, escorting, and transporting patients within the Imaging Department. The incumbent must be able to anticipate, initiate, and respond to department and customer needs, work independently, maintain productivity and workflow, prioritize and complete multi-tasks associated with Department of Imaging services.
Pay Range 21.00 - 29.03
1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Emergency Medical Technician and/or medical experience is preferred.
3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology and computer data entry skills are required.
5. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers, functioning proactively to meet their expectations is required.
6. Work schedule flexibility is required.
