Reporting to the Manager, Technical Training, the **Tech Trainer** is responsible for delivering training to internal and external customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a variety of Videojet technologies. The Tech Trainer also creates and maintains technical documentation and eLearning content for those technologies. This role will be located onsite in Wood Dale, IL and requires the ability to travel up to 25%, mostly to domestic sites within the US, but can include international travel.
In this role, a typical day might look like:
+ Preparing equipment for an upcoming training class
+ Developing an eLearning module for a new printer
+ Facilitating a training class to newly hired Field Service Engineers
+ Traveling to a customer’s location to facilitate an on-site class*
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ 2+ Proven experience as a technical trainer
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
+ Proficiency in creating training materials and documentation
+ Willingness to travel up to 5 days per month (including nights away from home)
It would be an asset if you:

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $82,000 - $94,000 USD per year.
