About the Role
Datavant is looking for an enthusiastic and meticulous Senior Product Manager, Privacy Solutions to join our Privacy Product team. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding patient privacy in the evolving landscape of healthcare data sharing. You'll collaborate across Product, Engineering, Design, and Privacy Delivery to drive innovation and excellence in our privacy offerings.
In this role, you will act as the Agile Product Owner for the engineering team, prioritizing product initiatives and ensuring we deliver high-quality features aligned with client (internal and external) needs. You will also be a key partner in understanding and interpreting re-identification risk, shaping product decisions with the Datavant privacy data science team and customer feedback.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as Agile Product Owner for the Privacy Solutions engineering team, delivering across the product lifecycle
+ Own the product roadmap, taking into account the business case and ROI of product investments
+ Communicate the product roadmap for Privacy Solutions, aligning internal and external stakeholders on priorities
+ Engage with clients to understand systems, processes, business goals, and how our products can serve those needs
+ Collaborate closely with Privacy Data Science Delivery, Engineers, Designers, and GTM teams to translate client challenges into scalable product features
+ Conduct competitive landscape analysis to identify gaps, opportunities, and emerging needs
+ Partner with Privacy Data science experts to contribute to research and thought leadership on re-identification risk
+ Synthesize feedback / product input into clear, actionable product documentation
+ Manage multiple product initiatives simultaneously with strong time management, clarity, and a high degree of organization
Qualifications
+ 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in a data-driven or privacy-focused environment
+ Experience leading agile teams as a Product Owner
+ Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-grade software products
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
+ Adept at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
+ Highly organized with stellar documentation and project management abilities
+ Familiarity with tools like Jira and other Agile frameworks
+ Strong plus: Background in data science or ability to collaborate deeply with data experts
+ Passion for improving healthcare and protecting patient privacy

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job.
The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:
$160,000—$200,000 USD
