RCM Revenue Cycle-Management Team** **is looking to hire a** **New RCM Trainer** **for BJC at the Commons!
Additional Information:
+ This Role will exist to support classroom facilitation and content creation for our RCM staff members.
+ The position support Scheduling staff will require the individual to be onsite at the Commons a majority of the time to allow for onsite, in person instruction
Schedule :
+ **The position supporting Revenue Management will be hybrid** – mostly supporting learners virtually from a remote location but at planned times, coming to the Commons for in person instruction
+ **Schedule:** Work Schedule for staff align with core RCM hours **Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p.**
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Require knowledge of the Epic System, Call Center Software, such as Five9 and Avaya, strong/proficient use of Microsoft applications, Saba Learning Management System
+ Patient Access Rep Experience, RCM experience in Billing, "back end" or billing stage of Revenu Cycle Management
+ Training experience. Coaching experience, and Lead Exprience

Role Purpose
The RCM Quality and Training function ensures RCM team members have the standard work, knowledge, skills, feedback, and resources to be successful. Quality drives the training content, and training ensures quality standards are met.The RCM Training Specialist has revenue cycle subject matter expertise, specifically in patient access and revenue management, along with an inherent ability to teach that expertise to others.Develops resources and facilitates participant-centered, application-based training programs for RCM team members and leaders. In coordination with leaders and quality specialists, develops and updates standard work documentation; ensures updates are communicated to all appropriate team members. Incorporates updates into training materials.Works with RCM leadership, operations management, trainers, and team members at all levels to assure training efforts result in achieving the quality metrics identified by leaders and quality specialists. Consults with leaders, quality specialists and other team members to identify performance gaps and root causes; partners to develop and implement mitigation plans.
Responsibilities
+ Develops participant-centered and application-based course materials such as facilitation guides, participant handouts, job aids, and reference guides. Develops back-on-the-job resources for participants and leads/preceptors to ensure learning transfers from the classroom. Provides content and scenario/simulation expertise to instructional designers on larger or on-line training programs. Modifies and updates training resources based on feedback, updated standard work, and emerging training needs.
+ Prepares for and facilitates training sessions, including classroom (in-person or virtual) and 1:1 instruction at The Commons or a hospital. Arrives prior to a scheduled training class to prepare the classroom, including setting up the training environment and other logistics. Promotes effective use of electronic systems, identifying and preventing bad habits and work around. Completes required documentation related to class session. Conducts and tracks competency assessment. Incorporates principles of adult learning, adding interactions and/or making adjustments during class to ensure participants stay engaged and are learning. Serves as change agent to promote, effect and support change in standard work and other changes.
+ In collaboration with quality specialists and preceptors, conducts performance audits on new hires and other team members.
+ Collaborates with quality specialists and department leaders to ensure documented, easily accessible, current, thorough and accurate standard work (such as policies, procedures, and work flows) is in place for each job role. Incorporates standard work into training courses and materials. Builds consistency across departments.
+ Identifies trends that may require additional training focus, standard work modification, etc. Collaborates with quality specialists to identify trends that may affect quality outcomes. Consults with leaders and quality specialists to analyze the root causes of quality gaps, and works with appropriate leaders to develop mitigation plans, which may or may not include re-training.
