    The Security Officer performs general safety & security duties including:

    + Patrol and detection services

    + Assisting customers

    + Response and intervention responsibilities

    + Provide monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety

    + Completes communication and documentation tools

    + Conducts weapons screening in appropriate manner

    + Completes other duties as assigned

    + Required specific skills also includes life safety and weapons screening techniques.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Certifications and Licensures

    + Driver's License (State of Florida)

    + IAHSS (Security) - Within 1 year

    + Security D - Within 90 days

    + **Preferred:** FDLE (Law Enforcement)

    Education

    + High School or Equivalent

    + **Preferred:** Associate's in Related Field

    Experience

    + 1 year Customer Service

    + **Preferred:** 2 years Security

    + **Preferred:** 1 year Healthcare in related field

    + **Preferred:** 1 year in Hospital related field

    Facility:

    Morton Plant Hospital

     

    Status:** **PRN (As Needed)
