RN Weekend Supervisor/ Charge Nurse

Under supervision of the DON, and ADON this person is responsible for the coordination of care on the nursing units in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards.

We are not far from a light rail station, and we offer transportation to and from there if transportation is an issue.

Summary of Job Duties:

+ Provide direct care nursing and supervisor responsibilities as indicted.

+ Assist the direct care nursing staff with admissions, transfers, and the discharge of residents.

+ Monitor and follow-up with falls, infection control, skin issues, unusual occurrences, medication delivery error and any other issues as indicated by the DON.

+ Communicate, clarify, and obtain orders, and updates on resident condition, etc. with other Health Care Providers.

+ Maintenance of quality assurance parameters including chart audits.

+ Complete audits as per direction of the DON.

+ Address any staffing related issues as they arise.

License/Certification:

+ RN (Required)

Experience Required:

• Management supervisory experience.

• Extensive experience in Point Click Care.

• Professional demeaner and attitude.

• Great organizational skills.

• Problem solving and works well under pressure.
