Responsibilities
Produces high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology procedural protocol and the American College of Radiology. Requires competence in various equipment and technology. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy preferred. Practice safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves. Performs Biopsies and Procedures under the direct supervision of a Radiologist. [CDL1] Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency required. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations shift times and lengths. Call required as determined by MRI Leadership.
Qualifications
+ Graduate of an Accredited Radiography Program
+ One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
+ Associate degree or above preferred
+ American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in Radiography and/or MR certification
+ American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in MR within 18 months of start date
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of start date
