Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a WebSphere System Admin to join their team. As a WebSphere System Admin, you will be part of the IT department supporting critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** WebSphere System Admin

**Location:** Richmond, Virginia

**Pay Range:** $78/hr

What's the Job?

+ Provide middleware IBM WebSphere System Administration support for critical applications.

+ Administer and troubleshoot WebSphere Application Server environments.

+ Manage installations and configurations of HTTP, Application, and Plugin components.

+ Implement failover and disaster recovery strategies.

+ Collaborate with customers and technical partners to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

What's Needed?

+ Advanced knowledge of WebSphere Application Server administration.

+ Strong UNIX and scripting skills (Shell Scripts, Jython).

+ Experience with performance tuning and network configurations.

+ Familiarity with Ansible and AWS is a plus.

+ Proficient troubleshooting skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
