+ **Breast Pump Support:** Assist mothers in obtaining breast pumps, either to rent or to keep, so they have the necessary tools to continue their breastfeeding journey after discharge.

Responsibilities

+ Provide expert breastfeeding education, support, and counseling to mothers, both in the hospital and as part of post-discharge care.

+ Offer guidance on lactation management, including positioning, latch techniques, and overcoming breastfeeding challenges.

+ Educate mothers on the benefits of breastfeeding and assist in developing a personalized lactation care plan.

+ Conduct individual consultations and follow-up sessions for new mothers, addressing any concerns related to breastfeeding or infant feeding.

+ Provide emotional support to mothers, helping them feel confident and empowered in their breastfeeding journey.

+ Stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices in lactation care and breastfeeding support.

Qualifications

+ Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) within 2 years

+ Strong knowledge of breastfeeding practices and lactation management.

+ Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care and support to mothers and families.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Previous experience as a lactation consultant or in a similar healthcare setting preferred.

+ Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
