    How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

     

    This role works on an "as needed" basis, this is a part-time position.

     

    The part time Flights Ops Support role provides support to key

    projects and needs inside of Delta Air Lines Flight Training & Standards.

    This role works on an ‘as needed’ basis for the area assigned. Flight Ops

    Support candidate should have a basic understanding and knowledge of FAA Part

    121 air carrier operations and moderate to expert knowledge of specific areas

    of focus. This position will report to the DPS Program Manager - Client

    Operations.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS

    + Provide curriculum; compliance; or training support to FlightTraining

    + Partner with Flight Training support teams to completeproject tasks as assigned

    + Provide guidance to project tasks as assigned

    + Modify or create new training materials when needed

    + Track individual progress and report status of projects toappropriate leaders

    + Review standard procedures and provide feedback on changes

    + Specific duties as assigned by Flight Training management

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    + Solid organizational and leadership skills.

    + Familiarity with Flight Operations infrastructure

    + Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

    + Solid computer skills including proficiency with Office 365and other Delta/DPS software.

    + Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining anattention to detail.

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

    + Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.

    + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

    + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

     

    What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

    Preferred qualifications

    + Experience developing technology-based training or performance solutions preferred.

    + Experience analyzing, designing, and implementing e-learning programs for air-carrier pilots preferred.

    + FAA Pilot or Ground Instructor certificate preferred.

    + Able to handle day-to-day work challenges confidently enough to demonstrate flexibility, high stress tolerance, and strong decision-making skills.

    + Interacts with departmental and client leadership in accordance with the Delta “Rules of the Road
