Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Middleware Engineer to join one of our largest financial clients in a variety of markets. They will lead end-to-end and administration duties for banking platforms, delivering Windows Middleware infrastructure for enterprise projects and regulatory initiatives. They will need to have a background in Middleware web services experience to include middleware installation, configuration, risk mitigation and remediation, update and support the infrastructure behind internal enterprise applications. They will ensure production stability, platform remediation, patching and upgrades, performance tuning and trouble-shooting/triage as L3 production support.

They will create, maintain and support the application deployment templates serving as a Windows IIS administration engineer, making recommendations on IIS best practices in application development and deployment. They will be interfacing with internal customers and external vendors for consultation at various points of the software development life cycle (SDLC) as well as communicating with business partners at an enterprise level.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

- 6+ years of experience in Middleware technologies

- Expertise in Windows OS (Windows 2019/2022) and Windows .NET platform

- Expertise in Microsoft IIS- Information Server

- Experience with PowerShell Scripting

- Experience with Ansible Core, Ansible Tower and Ansible Windows modules Plusses:

- *Highly Prefer former Bank of America Experience*

- Previous financial enterprise experience null
