    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking to hire a Software Architecture Consultant to support a client of ours in the Medical Software space. This person will be the "go to" for questions related to network architecture, database architecture, migration of data, etc. The ideal candidate will possess great written and verbal communication skills and will be comfortable in a client facing position. This person will be responsible for working with our clients to integrate our products with their systems and other third party applications. He or she must be self motivated and be able to learn the company's applications from a technical perspective in depth. This is a contract to hire position and will be local to Overland Park, KS.

    Skills and Requirements

    A college degree (a technical curriculum is preferred)

    5 years of experience in IT (knowledge of network architecture, database architecture, etc.)

     

    Application software: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access), Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project

     

    Operating systems: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 & 2008

     

    Strong understanding of relational database concepts

     

    Database Platforms: Microsoft SQL Server

     

    Understanding of network connectivity & knowledge of network traces

     

    Internet technologies: Apache Tomcat, BEA/Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Microsoft IIS

     

    Programming concepts: JavaScript, VBScript, SQL, COM, HTML, XML, XSL, JSP If candidates have used clients products, huge advantage null
