Job Description
An employer in Biloxi, MS is looking for an Operations Engineer - Mechanical, to join their team in support of a federal contract the have over the next 7 years. In this role you will be responsible for:
* Creates 10-year plans for mechanical systems on base, determining what preventative maintenance, repairs, renovations, etc. needs to be done.
* Evaluates projects to determine the most appropriate and economical systems to serve a
facility.
* Reviews construction documents: plans, specs, code book, etc.
* Participates in final on-site inspection.
* Performs contract related services such as writing scope of work, site surveys, contractor
selection, negotiations, construction performance monitoring, product design, design review
of internal and external A/E designs, and evaluation, inspection and acceptance of bids.
* Prepares detailed reports on the work being done on site.

Skills and Requirements
- At least 5 years of mechanical engineering experience
- Working knowledge of construction documents
- Can obtain a CAC card - Facility design experience
- DoD design experience
- EIT preferred null
