Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Controls Engineer to work onsite for a client outside of Greensboro, North Carolina. The day to day of this role includes preparing and coordinating manufacturing equipment to support new model launches. The primary responsibility of this position is to develop, specify, coordinate, and execute all internal control requirements for data collection. You are a good fit for this role if you have Equipment maintenance and installation experience, PLC experience, and can work well independently and within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support battery network system plans and specifications, applying knowledge of OPC-UA, CC-Link, SQL, and SCADA system implementation.
- Configuring manufacturing equipment PLCs (primarily Mitsubishi) for network systems connectivity through Kepware and signal mapping.
- Support implementation and intuitive visualizations for line status and health indication.

Skills and Requirements
Must Have:
- Associate's degree or higher in Engineering or similar field
- 2+ years of professional experience in manufacturing environment
- PLC experience including the ability to Read, interpret and modify Plusses:
- Bachelor's in Engineering
- Mitsubishi PLC Programming experience null
